Introducing, Simple Page

2025 August 11

I'm excited to finally share a new way to publish websites on Ethereum! Simple Page is a passion project of mine that started off because I wanted an easy to use tool that let me publish my personal website on my ENS domain. The result is a generalized content management system where no one can take control away from you.

Simple Page is not just an app that you use to create an publish websites. It is a tool that is designed to outlast me, even if I were to (although unlikely) leave or even attack the project. Building on top of Ethereum's 10-year track record of reliability, the fingerprint of each website update etched on the ledger forever. Actual website content is managed on IPFS, a p2p data distribtuion network, known for its resilience and censorship resistance. Don't worry though, all of this is taken care of for you. The only thing you need to care about is writing your content and uploading files. Publishing is as simple as making an Ethereum transaction.

Create your website now

I could talk all day about all the features or the architechture that makes Simple Page possible (more on them below), but if you are anything like me you are probably itching to publish something on your ENS name already. Simply head over to simplepage.eth to get started!

Publish on Simple Page ✨

There are multiple different templates to get you started. You need a blog, link-in-bio, developer docs, or a wiki? Simple Page got your covered.

Unique features

This is a high level overview of the Simple Page feature set. If you want to learn more, check out the architecture docs.

Minimal by design

Simple Page is fast! The content of each website is delivered as pure html and will render without javascript or css. Once the javascript does load, editing functionality is enabled.

Editor included

Simple Page features a web native markdown editor and file manager. These tools travels with your site. You don't have to rely on a third party website to edit your content. The editor itself is bundled inside of the website. You always have the power to update, even if simplepage.eth no longer exists.

Publish to ENS

Your ENS domain is your website. You publish using your wallet, or your organization publishes using a multisig. You can use Simple Page as a Safe App.

No Crypto Gimmicks

Simple Page is sustained by a simple subscription model, similar to ENS. There is no token staking, lock-ins, or other degen crap.

The subscription fee is simply used to pay for Simple Page's DService infrastructure. That is, nodes that index Ethereum and seed website content on IPFS. Anyone can run one of these DService nodes, and in the future this will be cryptographically incentivized through the fee.

Open Source, Forever

The code is open sourced using GPL v3.0.
